The story behind the Aquana series starts with something seemingly insignificant on a nice day in May 2015.
My necklace unexpectedly opened, causing my fluorite pendant to fall to pieces on the floor tiles. This small thing set in motion a chain reaction that led to what you see here before you on this website.
My first thought was ‘oh, time to change my crystal, but was this really neccessary?’ I tried to get more info by asking questions with the aid of a muscle test, but everything was a ‘no’. When I asked what the meaning of this was, the answer I picked up was ‘ask’ and the name of the friend that is my go-to for things like this.

The clue she gave me was that it was a hint to make an essence with the crystal that had fallen. She also saw a row of bottles, and then we both got the number 20. Only, I didn’t have that many pieces and I also already had two fluorite essences, so that wasn’t quite it. A little more back-and-forth provided us with a clearer picture.

For starters, I saw pictures of more of my fluorite crystals that I needed to add, and the clue that the pieces were distributed across the bottles turned out to mean that the essence of the fluorite pieces would be the basis of every essence in the series. Later, I would find a description of fluorite that mentioned its ability to help integrate and apply knowledge.
My follow-up question whether this were to be crystal essences was answered with ‘no’ and the word ‘hybrid’. So that meant I’d have to add other energies, like I’d done with several combination essences. Some of my later essences contain channeled angel energy or flower essences. The new chakra essences also contain channeled colour energy.
Around that same time, my attention was also consistently being drawn to certain advertising posters I drove by daily. They featured the name Magdalena. Since it was weird that I just had to look at them, I’d already asked whether this was something I needed to take a closer look at. The answer to that was a yes, but I didn’t have a clue what it was that I was supposed to do with it. When I thought to ask, it turned out this was connected to the new essence series as well.
Along with the clue that I needed to create a few new flower essences for this series, the first names more or less dropped into my lap: Awaken and Dawn.
Figuring out the hints for the name for the series was a little more complicated. My friend got the information that resembled ‘Aquarius’, but not quite. This piece of the puzzle solved itself, like most of these things do when you leave them alone for a bit :). The next day I was reading about Magdalene, and the name ‘Aquana’ dropped in out of nowhere. So, Aquana it was.
Magdalene’s energy became very noticable in those first days, and with it the conviction that it needed to be the theme for this series. It’s a real feel-the-love energy and I read in several sources that it has been manifesting stronger and stronger since about 2013.
This is an energy that takes some getting used to. It releases a lot of energy and is very moving. It feels like being engulfed. It’s a lot to handle, just shy of being too much, but in a good way.

It also became clear very early on that this is an energy you have to be ready to work with. The energy is very strong and if something within is resisting it, this resistance will be equally strong.
During a conversation with another friend I received some more information, like the indication that the Aquana series is a path of initiation into the Magdalene energy. It was also specifically stated that it was important to only supply these essences to people that are truly ready to work with this energy, with the reason given that this is neccessary to keep the energy pure. Unfortunately, that also means having to say ‘no’ on occasion.
The message/channeling also contained a few assignments. The first one was to create an accompanying deck of cards as a tool to help select essences. The second was a reading assignment: The Expected One by Kathleen McGowan, a book about Magdalene. I started it the next day and flew through it. It wouldn’t let me go and I had to finish it. And here I was thinking it would be tough reading 🙂
I was also asked to make sure I found space to rest, and that resting was key to integrating this energy. The aswer to my question for guidance was that I was free to find my own way with this, and that instructions would be given if and when needed.
In the year following that session, I created all 20 essences and slowly they began to get a name and a description. When that part was starting to come together, it was time to take a look at the card deck.
We (myself, my daughter and even my son, though he didn’t see the point of it :D) did a few mini photo-excursions, only to find that we had, by chance, already taken most of the photos needed for the card deck. I used 5 photos from the planned outings, the other 15 were from seemingly random ‘oh, this is great, let me take a picture of that’ moments. It turned out they suited the card deck perfectly.

By the way, most of the images on this website are from the planned outings. We went into the park and from there to the dunes and the beach, snapping pictures of whatever drew our attention.
When the images for the card deck were complete, all kinds of practical product development matters had to be created and realised. At times, I was so far outside of my comfort zone that I practically needed satnav to find my way back to it.

In the end, though, the pieces of the puzzle fell into place rather smoothly. The logo was giving me a headache because I had something in mind and it resisted every attempt to create it on the computer. Until I finally threw in the towel and resorted to just playing around with the programme to see what happened. Then it only took an afternoon. I have to admit there’s a lot of truth in all the talk about letting go and trusting the process 😀
As soon as the logo was finished, the way opened for actually creating the card deck, the labels for the bottles and the stickers for the boxes (the series comes in two boxes of 10 bottles each). The day the card decks were delivered was a very special, and suspenseful moment. And finally getting to show them to the friends that have supported me in the development of these essences from day 1 was even more amazing.
After a few checks and double checks to verify if I’d completed all parts of the ‘assignment’, it was finally time to start testing the series as a whole.
I have worked with all essences by drawing a card and then working with that essence for two weeks. I used two drops in my tea in the morning every day and put the card on my desk so I could see it during the day. And that’s when it was driven home why we’re not to take this energy lightly.
During the development, we worked with the Aquana essences, of course, but in the way of using one or two essences in a dosage bottle combined with other essences. I can tell you with certainty that working with these essences back to back is definitely another matter altogether.

Working with them as a series triggers a major energetic cleanse and opens up all sorts of things on the energetic level. And you absolutely need to be ready for this before you start to work with them.
